Laura Langman reunited with gold medal
New Zealand netballer Laura Langman has been reunited with her 2006 Commonwealth Games gold medal, stolen in a burglary just over a year ago. The medal was found by a carpenter cleaning a place in an Auckland state house last week. Laura said she was "absolutely ecstatic" at the news the medal had been recovered. It sported a few marks as the thief had apparently tried to scratch the medal to see if it was real gold. Laura's Tamahere home, nine kilometres south east of Hamilton, was burgled in February last year. Burglary squad Sergeant Bruce Bogan said a 27-year-old Hamilton man was arrested in November last year after the recovery of Laura's two bedside drawers. The man is defending the various charges, including burglary.

Swimming !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

As you may have noticed today I received a certificate for swimming. I have been swimming for 5 years, I started when my cousin came down from Auckland she had been doing swimming for a number of years now and I didn't have anything to do in the afternoons so I joined her. I turned out to be quite good, so I went into the waikato juniors competition, I came 4th in breastroke 5th in freestyle and 7th in backstroke. My favourite stroke is obviously breaststroke. I loved swimming for a while I even got medals for the club I was on yop at swimming being in clubs like ace and fairfield, but then it got really boring just going backwards and forwards, up and down the lenth, it can get quite boring after a while so I decided to quit last year. I never went back to swimming and I really regret it since I am quite good but I dont want to go back to the boring backwards and forwards of it all. Today at school we went to the science roadshow it was so much fun and we learnt a lot. We had so really great exibits (even though they really really not easy to get) it was really fun. I loved guessing the amount of m&ms in the jar I love m&ms.

Missing Aussie tourist found, being treated at hospital
An Australian tourist who went missing in the Lake Tekapo area on Saturday night was being "assessed and treated" at Christchurch Hospital this afternoon. John Robert McNicol, 66, was last seen leaving a wedding reception in the central South Island town around 11.30pm on Saturday. Senior Constable Brent Swanson of Lake Tekapo Police said Mr McNicol had "become a little confused and disoriented" and had driven to Christchurch after the wedding. Mr McNicol had been drinking at the wedding, but it was not known if he had driven to Christchurch non-stop immediately afterwards, or if he had taken a break whilst driving. Mr Swanson was unable to say what Mr McNicol was being treated for, but said it was not life-threatening.

How your ear works!!!! :)

The outer ear collects the sounds and comes though a long tube called the ear cannel. The middle ear has a long stretched out skinhich is abnormous (misshaped) called the ear drum which vibrates. The inner ear has three small bones that are like dominoes and they hit each other and then goes to the coclear. The coclear has liquid and little hairs/cells which moves everywhere then its sends though nerves to get to the brain and tells you someones said to you.The reason for this posts was so that some of the boys in our class dont know how to use their ears so I thought maybe it was because they didnt actually know who it works so now they have no reason to not listen to Mr Woody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :0 your welcome boys!!!!!!!!!!! :)

As you can see my clustr map is not very exciting as I only have people from USA (2) and new zealand where Im from not very exciting if you ask me! I really would like to get more people visting my blog.
